Blush. It gives life to the face. It makes you look youthful, awake, girly, vibrant, and so many other things, but...
Shopping for Blushes can be tricky. Especially if you've ever been to a MAC counter to shop for one. For me, a simple trip there to pick out a blush turns into me standing in front of the display with a thousand-yard stare on my face and weird pink swatches halfway up my forearm, completely overwhelmed. Well, hopefully I can help with that.
I swatched 4 of my favorite MAC blushes for you guys. All 4 of these are some of MAC's most popular, and they tend to look good on every skin tone that I've worked with. Enjoy!
Here are the swatches outdoors:
This is a neutral peachy blush with shimmer, and my favorite blush of ALL time. I seriously wear this blush at least 3 times a week. It's everything. It has a slight tan sheen to it, and makes you look so glowy. This is a great everyday blush! It compliments any look.
This blush is straight up peach. It is a matte blush, and is warm toned. I love pairing this blush with a bronzed face and a red lip. I find that it works better on clients who are fairer in color. It gives a nice natural warm flush to the skin.
This blush is awesome. It's described as "Golden Tawny Peach", and that about hits the nail on the head. If you aren't a fan of shimmer, you may not like this blush because it has a fair amount of gold in it. The shimmer is VERY finely milled though, so it comes off as more of an iridescent sheen. I never wear a highlighter with this blush because it catches the light enough on it's own! This is a very close dupe for NARS Orgasm.
This is a GREAT blush for summertime! It's like a bronzer and a blush mixed into one. (Although I wouldn't use it as a bronzer haha!) I love throwing this blush on with a tan, it is absolutely gorgeous and I get so many compliments on it. If peaches had gold shimmer in it, this would be very similar, but it's sliiightly more brown toned.
Thanks For Reading, and I hope this helped!
